Euphorbia myrsinites arranges fleshy, blue-green leaves along trailing stems in a distinctive spiral pattern. Yellow-green flower bracts appear at the tips in spring, creating a bright contrast against the cool foliage. Let it spill over a raised bed or mingle with small succulents for interest at ground level. Its milky sap irritates skin and eyes, so wear gloves when handling or cutting it.
Growing conditions:
Grow in full sun in well-drained soil, ideally with a gritty surface around the stems. Avoid waterlogged ground, particularly in winter.
Maximum size:
A low mound around 10 cm tall, with trailing stems around 35 cm long and an eventual spread of up to 50 cm.
