Hesperaloe parviflora forms a clump of long, narrow leaves edged with fine curling threads. Tall, branching stems carry pink to coral tubular flowers in summer, creating a light, airy display above the foliage. Despite the common name red yucca, it has its own softer, arching character. Combine it with gravel, agaves or ornamental grasses for an attractive contrast of shapes.

Growing conditions:
Grow in full sun in sharply drained soil, protecting the crown from excessive winter wet. A warm position encourages flowering, while established plants cope well with dry periods.

Maximum size:
Foliage reaches around 60–80 cm tall and approximately 60–100 cm wide, with flower stems up to about 150 cm.
