Salvia Nachtvlinder

Salvia ‘Nachtvlinder’ bears deep purple flowers above a bushy framework of small, aromatic green leaves. Its flowering season runs from summer into autumn, bringing welcome continuity to a border as other plants come and go. The moody colouring is particularly effective with silvery foliage, pale grasses and apricot flowers. Tuck it somewhere you pass regularly: those velvety blooms deserve a closer look.

Growing conditions:
Grow in full sun in a sheltered position with light, well-drained soil. Protect young plants from severe frost and avoid cutting the woody framework hard back before winter.
