Euphorbia nereidum forms tall, upright stems clothed in green leaves with pale veins. Yellow-green flowers and bracts create a fresh, light-toned display from late spring into the growing season. Its substantial shape helps connect lower perennials with larger shrubs, particularly in relaxed exotic planting. The milky sap is irritating to skin and eyes, so wear gloves and take care when pruning.

Growing conditions:
Grow in full sun in fertile, moisture-retentive soil, with shelter in colder gardens. Protect the crown in severe winters, as the stems may die back even where the roots survive.

Maximum size:
Approximately 150–250 cm tall and wide when established.
